Just got back from Berlin working with Zeitguised (awesome time!) and found this amongst a pile of records waiting for me. The layout, stock and print quality is really nice, and there is some incredible work throughout - lots of young talent in the UK. PLeasure to be included!

I was thrilled to be directed by a few people today to the above link. My entry for the Cartoon Network YCN award brief was chosen as one of 3 commended winners. Stay tuned for more info, all I know is that I think I win a giant rubber 'A' award and will be in the YCN annual later this year.
Thanks to the YCN for being an awards program that a) doesn't charge students to enter and b) follows up the initial interest by getting young designers work in the years after graduation.
After our first meeting a few months ago and a lot of hard work Mat Lloyd's 'Two Inches to the Right' animated poem is complete. You can check out an in depth production blog here right through from the research process to technical details in Cinema 4D and After Effects (via a huge amount of traditional hand drawn rotoscoping).
And with that my degree is over and done with! I have some exciting things lined up for the rest of 2010.
