This is one my favourite animations in the style and context of the project. I am talking mainly about the construction of the second video in the black and white sketchy lines..

The figures have been hand roto-ed as far as I can tell, but the backgrounds have been built in 3D and textured with similar hand drawn textures. The composite is quite stark in terms of being able to tell the 2D drawn layered on top of the smooth 3D camera moves but the motion itself is tightly matched.

The filmic camera angles and edits in this make it a lot more tense, switching between first person views and dramatic low angles shots. The use of quick repetition in some shots such as the double take of the man hitting the girl reinforces the action.

This would be a good technique to use in the part of the poem where the character is getting attacked, mixing slow motion with quick flashes of action to add dynamics and tension mixed with brutality.
